Helen Eulene Warhurst Bradford

Helen Eulene Bradford, age 89, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Helen Keller Hospital. Mrs. Bradford was a graduate of Russellville High School. She was an outstanding seamstress and always made her daughters the most beautiful clothes. She loved working in her flowers, her garden, yard work, and canning. She loved attending Tharptown Baptist church and her being involved in her Ladies Sunday School Class. She had a true servant’s heart, always willing to do whatever job was needed at church, from working in Vacation Bible School, cleaning up the church, or cooking for someone. She grew up working hard and instilled a hard-working ethic in her daughters. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, and a doting grandmother. Her family will cherish the memories she leaves behind. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Susan Bradford Hall (Terry), Nancy Bradford Johnsey (Buddy), Deanna Bradford Hollimon (Russell); grandchildren, Jonathan Hall (Brandi), Brad Bowling (Anna), Anne-Marie Patrick (Kevin), Daniel Hollimon (Julie), Caroline Hollimon; great-grandchildren, Helen Bowling, Naomi Hall, Reid Bowling, Charlie Patrick, Madeline Hollimon; and a host of nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Selwyn “Sam” Bradford; parents, James “Jim” Thomas & Annie (McCluskey) Warhurst; and her siblings, Owen Warhurst and Betty Coan. The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Eddie Wix officiating the service. The burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Terry Hall, Buddy Johnsey, Russell Hollimon, Jonathan Hall, Brad Bowling, Daniel Hollimon, and Kevin Patrick. The honorary pallbearers will be the Brentwood Retirement Community Staff. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Brentwood Retirement Community as well as the ER and 4th Floor staff at Helen Keller Hospital for the love and care shown to our mother and grandmother.
